Hi, I just started on the online Atalier, I’ve been a landscape painter for 11 or 12 years now, I joined to learn figurative painting, but still keep up my landscape painting as well and hope to improve those in the process. Here’s some of my more recent paintings. This first one is a 27×45 commission painting.
Great stuff Conrad. Great to see you getting into figure, portrait and still life. It will definitely improve your landscapes as it has mine. Keep posting and look forward to seeing some of your new work. Welcome!
Really nice works here Sean, I’m drawn to the snow, good composition and nice depth, the transition from light to dark on the trees is nicely done as is the handling of atmospheric perspective, look forward to more.
Here’s a new scene mixed with a couple recent ones, I had to take a little break from the program in late November, we had the birth of our second daughter, so needless to say, the first few months are busy ones, but my schedule is becoming more regular again where I can participate…
Well, I’m afraid I had to fall off the radar for a while regarding my classes. Between my own painting and helping my wife with her business it didn’t leave much time for study. So… since I was here last the guilds were introduced so I’m having to start over again and upload my homework, etc. but the guilds seem like they will be a true asset to the program, looking forward to being a part of them. I thought I would post a few of my more recent paintings. I’ve been doing a lot of Western/Cowboy art and would love any and all feedback on my paintings! I really appreciate it. Thanks!
