Our Instructors (From left to right; Ben, Jeff, Lucas, and Meadow) Demonstrating the Craft

We at the Watts Atelier believe that seeing proper technique in action is an important step in the learning process.  Because of this, each one of our courses at our on-location Atelier in Encinitas, CA begins with an instructor demonstration.  Our instructors demonstrate the techniques students will be utilizing themselves in that particular class, as they verbally and visually break down the process and create an image while the students watch.

We will now be bringing this particular feature of our brick-and-mortar Atelier to you, our online followers and subscribers, in our new weekly blog feature “Demonstrating the Craft.”

Each and every Monday, we will post in-class demonstrations by our instructors from the current term at the Atelier.  You’ll be able to see what our instructors have been up to in the past week, and be able to experience a bit of what it’s like to be right there, in our Atelier, as the demo is created.

Enjoy these first images for this new weekly feature, and we look forward to seeing you next Monday as our instructors continue the process of “Demonstrating the Craft.”
