Just Released: “Designing and Painting Dragons,” with Lucas Graciano

 

We are proud to announce that our newest Master Class, “Designing and Painting Dragons” with Lucas Graciano, is now available!

This course will delve into the research, prep work, and finishing techniques that are required to paint dragons for the illustrative industries.  Students will be guided through the process of designing a dragon with personality and weight in order to achieve a highly inspirational and believable design.  Lucas will cover ways to ground designs in reality and concretely mannequinize these  fantastical beasts,  giving students the  ability to visualize and draw their own dragons from multiple angles.  Students will be walked through every step of the process, from rough sketches, to thumbnails and detailed designs, all the way through the process of a finished dragon oil painting.  This course is a great resource for students looking to enter the illustration or concept design fields, and is included in our Full Access Membership option.
