Instructor Critiques for Full Participation Students will be uploaded for viewing approximately one week after each class.
Date : Jan. 20- Feb 17th.
Length: 5 Weeks

Emphasis will be placed on gaining an in-depth understanding of the body’s underlying geometry and anatomical structure. We will work in a tonal fashion to interpret photo reference. The eye will be trained to observe, analyze, and execute edges, values, anatomical nuances, and ultimately calligraphy and idealization.

Ben Young has studied and taught at Watts Atelier for the past 20 years. He has worked as a freelance illustrator and conceptual designer.
