This figure drawing class offers the opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of the human form. Poses will be drawn from photos utilizing the Reilly Abstraction to build up the pose. Techniques will encompass basic lay-ins and structural drawing, basic block-ins and anatomy as well as rendering light and form. Both male and female poses will be drawn with an emphasis on good structure, anatomy and proportion.

• Conte 1710b or Wolf’s Carbon 6B charcoal pencil
• Smooth Newsprint
• Single Edge Razor Blade
• Sanding Pad
• Kneaded Eraser
