Level : All Levels Welcome
Working on canvas or canvas panels ranging from 4”x6” to5”x7” and 8”x10” we will work towards capturing gesture and emotion rather than rendering. Paintings will be executed in 15, 20 and 30 minute sessions.
Emphasis will be on the indication of color notes and value control. This class is designed to help painters develop a more “juicy” style of painting alla prima.
When purchasing materials, note that you do not need every brush and size, just get a good variety of small, medium and large brushes in bristle (stiff hair) and sables (soft hair).
