Skill Building Challenge 23 now live! Cycle 21 and 22 winners announced!

With the close of our Cycle 22 Skill Building Challenge, we are now officially halfway through our Master Skill Building Challenge event, with guest juror Donato Giancola.  We are pleased to announce that our cycle 23 Skill Building Challenge is now live in our student forums, open for all enrolled students to join.

As we press forward, we must acknowledge the amazing efforts of our students in the past two Skill Building Cycles.  Cycle 21 brought us a self-portrait challenge, where students had to apply their skills to a drawing or painting of themselves.  Cycle 22 proved a unique challenge, as participants had to complete a themed costumed figure drawing or painting.  We would like to take a moment to congratulate our cycle 21 and 22 winners…

Cycle 21 Winner

Philip

Cycle 21 Honorable Mention

Dian

Cycle 22 Winner

Frederick

Cycle 22 Honorable Mention

Chris Carlson

Congratulations to you all!  Philip, Dian, Frederik and Chris, each one of you (as well as all of your peers who participated!) did a *fantastic* job…!  Judging our Skill Building Competitions becomes more difficult with each passing cycle, as we watch the quality of the student work rise across the board.  Thank you all for taking your learning to heart, and making our community what it is!

Best of luck to everyone as you press forward into cycle 23, and Remember…Embrace the Challenge!
