Join Brian Knox, as he breaks down and then builds up the process of constructing the human head. This course will instill a solid knowledge of the underlying structure of the human head. Using a combination of constructive and rhythmical approaches, students will learn how to first block in major forms, then break down the features and planes of the face, adding more information in a structured way, working ultimately towards a full value drawing.

Meet your instructors

Brian Knox

Brian Knox was a student and teacher at Watts Atelier for more than 15 years. Brian excels in teaching new students the fundamentals of head, figure and anatomical drawing. Focusing primarily on the Reilly Method, he has developed his own simple style to help effectively teach students who are new to technical drawing.
