Florian Millet is a traditional painter and illustrator with a deep passion for craftsmanship, storytelling, and evocative visual worlds.

Inspired by the classical masters and dedicated to strong foundations, his work combines realism, atmosphere, and composition to create emotionally charged scenes that feel both grounded and timeless.

With nearly two decades of experience in the animation, VFX, and video game industries, Florian has collaborated with studios such as Disney, ILM, Paramount, Netflix, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Ubisoft, Reel FX, Mikros Animation, and Technicolor.

Although fluent in digital tools, Florian remains deeply committed to traditional media, valuing the physicality, gesture, and intentionality of hand-crafted work. Each image he creates is treated as a complete world—designed with clarity, structure, and mood.

As a professional illustrator, he brings his industry experience to Watts Atelier Online, where he supports student growth through grading and feedback. His work was recently published in Infected by Art, Volume 13.
